Today, I’m sharing all the projects from our new Family Craft Night. This series is a partnership with Plaid Crafts. In this episode we are making 10 different Christmas Ornaments with family photos, handprints and recycled materials. These are all kid friendly and perfect for gift giving.
We explored many recycling ideas in this video. Milk and juice caps are so great for creating small ornaments. We are also using old gift cards and mason jar lids. Ideas for ornaments are endless and it is so nice/fun to be able to recycle something into a Christmas ornament.
We are also doing a tutorial on how to Photo Transfer your family photos onto fabric. For this we used Mod Podge Photo Transfer.
Creating handprint ornaments is easy and fun. I love this project for a classroom. This does have dry-time so it can be a project that kids work on over a few days.
These little ornaments are made with milk or juice bottle caps. They are sooo easy to make.
We used some bright colored paper straws to create a fun tree design.
This ornament was created using an old retail store gift card. It is endless how may different ways you can create ornaments with recycled materials.
Mason jar lids are a great base for ornaments. I love how they create the perfect little frame.
