For me, nothing is more iconic in the “Halloween” movie than the hedges where Michael Myers pops out while Laurie is walking down the street. You can find them at 1019 Montrose Avenue, South Pasadena, California 91030.
DISCLAIMER: My girls have not seen any of the Halloween movies…. so these pics and locations were not so exciting for them to go see. I had a ton of fun talking them to see the locations and hopefully one day they will think these pics are fun! I found most of my locations on the website Movie Locations.
The homeowner hung this amazing Haddonfield sign. I find that with most of the “Halloween” locations the homeowners are excited to have look-e-loos popping by to see the filming locations.
The famous Myers house….. this house was actually preserved and moved to the current location at 1000 Mission St. South Pasadena, CA 91030
It seems like this house is now a business. Please be respectful of all locations. It’s best to visit this location on a Sunday when they are closed. FYI the shop behind the Myers house during halloween has a really nice set up featuring the “Halloween” movies.

Laurie’s house aka the Strode home is located at 1103 Fairview Avenue at Oxley Street / (1115 Oxley St), South Pasadena, CA 91030, USA. The homeowner has a pumpkin out so people can recreate another iconic scene…. Yep – you are welcome to have a seat on the cement posts just like Laurie did.
The hardware store is now a restaurant. But the building is almost the same. You can find the “hardware store” next-door to the Myers house at 966 Mission St. South Pasadena.
The Doyle house is located at 1530 Orange Grove Avenue. West Hollywood, CA. This where Laurie babysits. Such a beautiful home.
The Wallace house (scene of the murders) is across the street from the Doyle house and is located at 1537 Orange Grove Avenue. West Hollywood, CA. They had the house decorated so cute! My pics just don’t do it justice.
Here is the view of Haddonfield for the title card. This is just down from the Strode home.
While we were driving around we went to the house from “Nightmare on Elm St.” – it’s located in Hollywood at 1428 Genessee Avenue, West Hollywood, Los Angeles.
Thanks for stopping by! Please remember that if you drive by any of the homes / locations to be respectful. They are all private property. Happy Halloween! Cathie
