Oh… I am crazy for all the awesome marquee light goodies. When we spotted this plain marquee pumpkin, I just knew it needed a little makeover love! We used crackle finish to give it a distressed look.

Supplies
Marquee light pumpkin,
Paintbrush
Black Paint – FolkArt
FolkArt Crackle Finish
Pumpkin Orange Paint – FolkArt
Mod Podge Gloss
Instructions
Paint the inside section of the marquee light with Pure Black. Dry for two hours.
Apply a coat of FolkArt Crackle Medium over the Pure Black paint. Allow to dry for four hours.
Painting in one direction, apply the Pumpkin paint over the Crackle Medium. Make sure you donβt paint over the crackled areas. Allow to dry for two hours.
Top-coat with a layer of Mod Podge Gloss to give the lamp a shiny and durable finish.
PROJECT TIP: Antique it more by dry brushing brown paint to the edges and raised areas.
We used Mod Podge to top-coat the project.
