Wedding and Shower season means lots of party favors will be exchanging hands. I love a good party favor! I love making them, giving them and getting them. In this post, I’ll be sharing the video and pics of 14 different DIY Party Favor Designs you can make.
Beach shell collection jar favors. Fill small jars with sand, shells, tiny things or scrolled up thank-you notes. Create a paper label with computer software. Print out. Cut out. Apply a small amount of Mod Podge to the back of the paper and position onto the little jar. Let dry. Add a bit of twine around the neck of the jar. You can also dangle a little charm or drilled shell. Look for small jars in the jewelry section of a craft shop. You can also get some in bulk online.
Jam, jelly, pickles, fancy mustard and other jar foods are a popular choice of favors for destination weddings and events. Jazz up morning jars with fabric and Fabric Mod Podge.
Personalized votive candleholders are great gifts and they are super cost friendly. You can purchase glass votive candleholders with pre-filled candles by the dozen and more. Use your favorite paper and Mod Podge to create one-of-a-kind looks.
Potted plants and succulents have become a very popular favor to give. We think potted lucky bamboo is fun too. These we picked up from our dollar store. The pots we painted to match a pink and coral color theme.
When you are giving a small gift….. like a few chocolates or a jewelry piece, think about the presentation. For this natural look, we attached lace to a kraft box with Fabric Mod Podge and then wrapped the look up with a few sprigs of faux succulents.
Photo Transfer is a fun way to create personalized gifts for friends and family. For this design, we created make-up bags. Photo transfer can be tricky….. the key is to use laser copies (not ink-jet) and to remove the paper layers in baby steps. Allow for dry time in between the removal process.
Fruits, coffee mugs with tea, hand cream and soaps look stellar when presented with coordinated paper cello bag inserts and matching bows.
I love using food containers for wrapping. These takeout boxes get the royal makeover with marbleized fabric and Fabric Mod Podge.
Sip Sip Hooray! Make some personalized bubbly or mini wine with just a few simple steps. Soak the label off and add a new one with scrapbook paper or a pre-designed label.
Here is another candle project that is just stunning. These would be great on a table and lit for candlelight glow and then the guests can each take one.
Glittered tumblers are great gifts for bridesmaids, family members and friends. They are also great for destination weddings. Coordinate the glitter colors to your wedding colors.
Personalized drinking cups are also fun for guests hotel rooms and welcome parties. You can do the initials of your guest or do the bride and groom’s initials.
Fancy water bottles get fancier with the addition of paper and paper tags! You can never go wrong with water as a gift. Water favors can be used in hotel rooms, welcome bags or at the end of your big event. Everyone will want a water! I also think they are great for the grooms-room where the fellas might be getting ready.
