Some of our transformations just blow me away! We crafted so crazy hard to create this Avengers Action Figure Display. We used a variety of materials to create specific display areas for each of the action figures. This house stated as a Barbie Dream Hotel…. and with a bunch of Mod Podge and creativity we transformed it into a display for Black Panther, Iron Man, Black Widow, Capitan America, Hulk, Spiderman, Scarlet Witch, Gamora, Groot, Rocket, Dr. Strange and Thor. In video below we will walk you through all of our designs and process.

For the Black Panther display, we used a variety of materials. The floor is the same paper bag floor as shown in the video. For the walls we attached blueprint style papers with Mod Podge. We used Moss and Silk Feather Plants to round out his display.
For Scarlet Witch, We used several different colors of tulle to create a fiery look around her. She is suspended with fishing line.
For Iron Man, We created walls with glitter corrugated scrapbook paper, wood trim and nail studs. The base for his display is a wood art canvas that we painted with silver paint and glitter paint. Using Mod Podge, we attached a printed logo to the top.
The base for Captain America is actually the bed of the hotel. We decoupaged flag napkins to the bed to create a place for him to stand. The walls got the sticker treatment as well as some painted stars.
The Hulk display is one of my favorites! We stenciled the background with a cracked design. We used scrapbook paper that featured bricks for the lower walls.
The Black Widow display is actually the “phone booth” of the Barbie hotel. We used spiderweb scrapbook paper to accent the back of the window. The oversized spiders got a glitter makeover and we glued them to the floor and walls.
The Thor flooring is actually a fabric cutout! We used fabric Mod Podge to attach the cutout to the paperbag flooring. We painted a wood disk to make a stand for the Thor Action Figure. The walls are mirrored scrapbook paper.
Each room was carefully crafted to highlight the character details.
Spiderman’s web….. we had so many ideas and stops and starts. We used Stiffy to create this stiffened web. The material was Halloween webbing. We added a dash of white paint to the web once it was dry.
Gamora! Gamora’s galactic display was so easy to do! The marbled walls are actually printed felt. Doesn’t get much easier than that.
For the Dr. Strange display, we created a porthole for him to be walking through. It was created with foam core board, Mod Podge and printed flame papers. We also used holiday star garland to add dimension.
This was a huge project to do! It was so fun and I can see someone re-creating this idea with any doll house. The fashion doll or Barbie sized houses are great because you have plenty of room to display your action figures.
