These Recycled Mummy Monsters are so easy to make! In the video tutorial we show you all the steps. They are so easy and kids love making them. The video in this blog post is a paid partnership with Plaid Crafts.
The Mummy Monsters started out as food containers. We used everything from extra-large chip barrels to mini milk containers for our Mummy Monster base. Make sure you clean the containers with hot soapy water.
We love making kids crafts and we love Halloween! This project was the perfect balance for us.
The large Mummy Monsters are made from chip barrels….. I have also seen pretzels and animal cookies in these large tubs.
Milk and Juice containers are great bases for Mummy Monsters. The monster on the left is a tall water bottle… I just love how that one looks with yarn bangs.
We attached the cheesecloth aka mummy fabric with Mod Podge. The wood eyes and feet were painted with Apple Barrel Paint.
Dairy containers are great for this project too. The blue haired monster is an upside down yogurt container. The orange monster mummy is a mayo jar and the yellow fellow is a mini milk bottle.
