Grab your camera and snap a pic! These Halloween photo props are inspired by vintage melted plastic popcorn Halloween decorations. The little tissue paper squares are applied using Mod Podge and they create a great texture when clustered together. For the base of the photo prop, we used recycled cereal boxes and the handles are made from popsicle sticks.

Begin by gathering cardboard to recycle. I like to use large boxes like….pizza or cereal boxes.
Sketch a design for your photo prop onto the non-printed side of the recycled cardboard.

I like to add a quick coat of paint to highlight what colors I want to go where. Think of it as a “paint-by-number” This can be super quick because it will all get covered in tissue paper.

Wrap a square piece of tissue paper around the end of a pencil, dip into a little bit of Mod Podge and place into the painted color section on your prop base.
For the handles, we used popsicle sticks that we glued together to make them longer. Then we wrapped with a yarn. In the video we go through each design.

Of course you always need a Halloween Cat.
I added a gem to the base of the handle.
Frankenstein and the Bride of Frankenstein are big time favorites of mine.
Design ideas are endless and this idea can be adapted to any party or theme!
