Don’t trash your old glass bottles! Watch and learn while we revamp old glass bottles with Halloween napkins and Mod Podge to create Spooktacular Halloween décor. You can display a collection of bottles across a mantel or cluster them in the center of the table…however you want to display the bottles is up to your imagination.

Start with washed and de-labeled glass bottles. When doing a bottle cluster, I like to look for a variety of sizes and shapes.
Grab some chalk paint to use as a primer. My go to is FolkArt Home Decor Chalk.
Paint the bottles with 2 coats of chalk paint. By turning your bottles white, your napkins will pop and the design will standout better. Without the chalk primer your napkins will have a stained glass effect.

I love to use a variety of napkins. If I am making a collection of napkin decoupaged bottles, then I like to have them all coordinate in colors. That is a personal choice….. you can make them anyway you wish.

Now it’s time to decorate! I use everything from glittery tree branches and dollarstore toys to ribbons and tinsel.
For this one, I just slipped a bat around the bottle and added some branches to the top.
Branches can also be glued to the front of a bottle. This one I topped with a sparkle spider.
A quick bow works to finish off a design.
A little bit of tinsel is perfect for a little pop of sparkle.
