You can use any fabric dye for making heart tie dye. We used a tie dye kit that had the dye remeasured into squeeze bottles. This was an easy dye application for doing hearts with kids.

You will begin by rubber banding your heart design. In the video, Delilah and Sophia show you each step for making toe dyed hearts.

One key thing to note about this method of dye is that it will need to set for about 8 hours for the colors to set.

Each tie dye heart will come out with a different personality and flair. Make sure you rinse your fabric well to remove all the dye.
You can cut and tie fun fringe along the edges. I also like to trim away the neckline and the hem.
