Let’s start with the napkin decoupage cheese plate. This is made with dishwasher safe Mod Podge so it is top-rack or hand washable. The work is all done on the bottom so you top is totally food safe.
You will need to gather a plain glass plate. I like to look for ones that don’t have any markings on the bottom.
In the video, I explain all the different tools and materials that are needed to make a decoupage plate with napkins.
For the napkins, I like to use ones that have an all over pattern. They are easier to overlap when decoupaging. As I explain in the video, you will only be crafting with the top-printed-ply of the napkin.

For the drink holder / utensil caddy – I started with this plain wood holder from the craft store. It will sold so many different things.
Before doing the napkin decoupage, I like to paint raw wood with a coat of FolkArt Home Decor Chalk in white. This paint works as a primer and creates a light background so the napkin shows through.
In the video, I explain the step-by-step process of napkin decoupage onto glass plates.

To finish off the handle, I wrapped the handle with some cotton cording. I used hot glue to attach the rope around the handle.
