Today on “Make it with Mod Podge”, it’s all about cozy fall fashion and décor. We are creating patchwork and doily designs using Mod Podge Fabric and Satin. Plus – We have a unique technique for dyeing doilies with FolkArt Multi Surface Paint. Watch and Learn how to make these cottagecore designs.
To make the dye-bath, I just added a small amount of FolkArt Multi-Surface Paint to water. You’ll will want to blend it well so you don’t have any lumps in the paint/water mixture. Then you can just toss in a light colored doily.
I let the doily soak for about an hour. Then just rinse clean allow to dry. The color will be lighter once dry.
The doilies can be used on anything from a pumpkin to a jean jacket! I’m using Mod Podge Fabric to attach the doilies.
Fabric Mod Podge is machine washable.
You can use Fabric Mod Podge to add embellishments to clothing like on this Cottagecore t-shirt.
The doilies are especially cute on denim jean jackets.
For the patchwork pumpkin designs, I am using Mod Podge Satin and 100% Cotton Fabrics.
I love how sweet they come out! Too adorable.
