Canvas shoes work best for this project. Light colored shoes are also best! You need light colored shoes so the colors of the napkins show up. I see these shoes at Walmart, Target, Jo-Ann Fabrics and Hobby Lobby. Amazon has them too.

I like to add the napkin pieces around the entire shoe. This way it almost looks like printed material.

Fabric Mod Podge is BEST for this project!
For cleaning and rain… you must seal and top-coat 3 times and allow for the Fabric Mod Podge to cure. I spot clean. You must use Fabric Mod Podge….not regular Mod Podge. Fabric Mod Podge is machine washable. But with napkins and shoes….I hand wash with a little dish-soap or spot clean with wipes. I’m gluing the napkins and sealing them with Fabric Mod Podge.
