Another Theme Park DIY Idea! This adorable Minnie Mouse tote and hat are both no sew and no cricut! I’m using Fabric Mod Podge to glue the Minnie Mouse fabric to a plain tote bag and hat. These are perfect for your next trip to Disneyland or Disney World!

This fabric is from Joann Fabrics. You don’t need much fabric so just a little will do a long way. Walmart has adorable Disney fat quarters that would be perfect for this type of project. I like to pre-wash my fabric to remove any sizing. This technique will help the fabric stick better.

It is important to use Fabric Mod Podge! This formula is specifically for fabric to fabric projects. It is machine washable…..but you need to read the bottle instructions for cure time. For a project like this, I usually make a few days in advance. But for washing, it will need to cure for longer.

The fun thing is that you can also layer fabric cutouts to create your own custom looks. There are so many Disney and Minnie Mouse fabric designs. I think all the major craft stores sell some version and Walmart too.
The trim is also attached with Fabric Mod Podge. In the video, I show how to use clothespins to hold the trim in place while it is drying.
The hat is made the same way as the tote but instead of cutting the large circles to form the mouse face, I just cut out the design and attached with Fabric Mod Podge.
