Welcome! Today, I’m sharing a tutorial on how to make Halloween pendants with Dollar Tree game pieces for Halloween Jewelry! I’m rubber stamping the letters but you can use mini stickers too!
Watch and Learn: Dollar Tree Game Piece Pendants for Halloween Jewelry
For these Halloween pendants, I’m using faux Jenga game pieces from Dollar Tree. I side drilled them so the ball chain could feed through the game piece. You could glue a bail to the back of the game piece if you didn’t want to drill them.
These wood pieces are a great value. I got the entire box for $1.25. So if you are making to sell…. this is an amazing project with high profits! They are also great to make and give in bulk. I made something similar for all the teachers at school.
The letters are rubber stamped…..so easy! The clear glass like finish is Mod Podge Dimensional Magic and that stuff is magic. It’s like a resin only it’s non-toxic and no mixing is required.
To attach the paper to the wood, I am using regular Mod Podge. I did not pre-paint my game pieces but you totally could. You could also paint the sides with paint or even a gold paint pen.
