Chex Party Snack Mix Recipe That Kids Love!
This is our family’s favorite way to make Chex Party Mix. This recipe has a little less season salt than the original recipe. It’s a bit milder and perfect for kids.
In the video above we are making this on our new web series, “Hello Crafty Kids.”
Recipe is adapted from Chex™ cereal.
Ingredients:
3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
3 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal
1 cup Cheerios
2 cups bite-size pretzels
2 cups goldfish crackers
1 cup of honey roasted peanuts
6 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Steps: Pre-heat oven to 250°. Add butter to a roasting pan. Melt butter in the oven. Combine the cereal, goldfish, pretzels and peanuts in a bowl. Remove pan with melted butter from the oven. (Grown-Up Help) Add the seasoning mixture into the pan, mix and then add the cereal mixture. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool, about 15 minutes.
