How adorable did these turn out!?! They started as plain French Fry Boxes and we transformed them into patriotic snack packs with just Mod Podge and Scrapbook Paper. Super easy and super fun!
Supplies:
French fry boxes
Scrapbook paper
Pencil
Scissors
Mod Podge – Hard Coat
Ribbon
Mod Melter
Mod Melts – Colors
Mod Molds – Trinkets
Instructions
Open up the French fry boxes down the sides so they lay flat. Place them onto the back of the scrapbook paper and trace around them. Cut out the paper and repeat for each box.
Apply a coat of Mod Podge Gloss to the top of the French fry box and the back of the paper cut-out. Place the paper cut-out onto the top of the French fry box.. Smooth with your fingers to remove any bubbles. Allow to dry for 15 minutes. If desired, top-coat with a layer of Mod Podge and allow to dry.
Using Mod Melt as a glue, reattach the sides of the box together.
Create Mod Melt embellishments by heating a Mod Melt stick in a Mod Melter or high temp glue gun, fill a mold with the Mod Melt, allow to cool, remove from the mold. Use detail scissors to trim away an excess melt from around the design. We used red and blue Mod Melt stick and the star shape from the Trinkets Mold for this design.
Using Mod Melt, glue ribbon around the center of the French fry boxes and add a Mod Melt star.
TIP: Mix and match your papers or keep it simple. Look for scrapbook papers that are in a large pack for coordinated paper looks.
