School looks a bit different this year. The girls and I are sharing a work / classroom space that I created in our converted garage. We are lucky that the space isn’t too crowded…. we even have room for a few yoga mats. I added lots of fun posters and printout to the walls to make the space feel more like a school space. The transition to remote learning was a little easier than it was back at Spring Break.

I wanted to create a cork board where we can use tacks to add a calendar and notes. I also want each girl to have their own little space for hanging notes and artwork. The wide clothespins are perfect for that.
I created the left side to be for Delilah’s items and the right side for Sophia. The wood letters help them to see what side is theirs.
The wood letters are the thin ones… I don’t want to add too much weight to the project. I just love this unicorn rainbow paper!

We started with a plain cork board. In the video we show you how we transformed it with Mod Podge and magnets.
The days of the week, season and weather are all magnetic so they can be changed out daily.
I used a mix of papers… I just want the organization board to be bright and fun.
