Picnic season and backyard dining is here! Don’t let your tablecloth blow away – create tablecloth weights and games with watermelon rocks. We are adding some fun and function to plain rocks with watermelon napkins and Outdoor Mod Podge. This technique is called napkin decoupage.

First, prep your napkin by removing the top printed ply of the paper napkin. Most napkins come in 2 or 3 plus. Then cut a section of the napkin that will fit around your rock. In the video you will see all the tips and tricks.
I like to add a little felt circle to the back of the rocks. This finishes off the back side and creates a soft backing so you don’t snag your picnic tablecloth.
These napkin decoupaged rocks are perfect for picnic tablecloth weights but the are also cute for just decorating your outdoor space.
Or you can make two different types of rocks and have a game of tic tac toe.
You can use them on a table to hold down your tablecloth or as weights to hold down a tablecloth on the ground.
