Hand-painted Margarita Pitcher
Handprinted Margarita Pitcher and Mason Jar Glasses
What you need: Glass Pitcher, Drinking Mason Jars, Rubbing alcohol, Detail paintbrush, Sponcers, FolkArt Multi Surface Paints
Instructions:
To create the flowers, we used Spouncer foam paint daubers to create circles that formed the flower shapes. Keeping with the hand-painted look of Day of the Dead items we overlapped colors and kept the design more organic. Clean the pitcher with rubbing alcohol so the paint sticks.
Create a flower by dipping one size of a Spouncer into the paint colors of choice. Tap off the excess and stamp onto the glass in a circle pattern of 5 dots. Repeat with the different color in the center.
Add more painted details by over lapping large and small dots to the flower designs.
Allow to dry and heat set per the bottle instructions.
