would you fray check the fabric on the skirt so it wouldn’t fray? or is the fraying of the skirt meant to be? (i am meaning after the skirt is laundered.) sweet idea BTW. 🙂

You could use fray check or pinking sheers to help prevent frays. You could also use dimensional glitter fabric paint to create a finished and glitzy edge. For this design, I just cut it raw and then I’ll trim the edges after I launder. I like the look of frayed or deconstructed edges. You could also zig-zag stitch the edges.
