Use Iron-ons to dress up a thrift shop tie.
Hammer slinging Dads will love this design! All you need is a bottle of fabric paint and a funky plaid tie. For this design I used the freezer paper stencil technique. Instructions below.
HOW TO
Working on freezer paper, trace the graphic onto the paper side.
Use a craft knife to cut out the graphic of the trophy. It should look like a stencil.
Place the pieces wax side down on the tie. Iron all the pieces. You might need a pressing cloth.
Use fabric paint to paint the design. Lift the freezer paper before the paint dries.
Allow the paint to dry and heat set as per the bottle.
Add iron on studs.
