Mod Podge a Spider frame to showcase your kids costume pictures!
For this haunted Halloween frame we used a Spider-themed paper punch to create the black spiders. The papers and spiders are all attached with Mod Podge.
Gather This:
Wood frame
Foam paintbrush
Scrapbook papers
Old Book pages
Paper punched spiders
Rhinestones
Ribbon for outer edge of frame
Plaid ® Hot Glue Gun Helpers
FolkArt ® Extreme Glitter™ – Orange, 5 oz.
FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors – Engine Red, 2 oz.
FolkArt ® Metallics – Pure Gold, 2 oz.
Mod Podge ® Gloss, 8 oz.
Instructions
Basecoat the frame with gold paint. Allow to dry. Tear the scrapbook paper into strips that will fit around the frame. Apply a coat of Mod Podge to the frame and to the back of the paper. Position the paper onto the frame, press with your fingers to smooth any air bubbles and top coat with an additional layer of Mod Podge.
Paint the frame and over the paper with orange Extreme Glitter. Allow to dry. Add a layer of torn paper book pages over the scrapbooking paper in the same fashion as in step 1.
Glue paper punched spiders to the frame with Mod Podge. Top coat each one with more Mod Podge. Allow to dry.
Hot glue gems to the frame and ribbon around the outer edge.
