Wreath making is one of my favorite crafts! It’s so fun to create something that can hang on our front door. I usually make something new for each season or holiday. The dollar store is a great place to look for supplies and seasonal embellishments.

The base for the wood shamrock was from Dollar Tree. I love checking out their seasonal craft supplies.
The checkered portion of the wreath is done with paper napkins and Mod Podge. In the video I show you how to do this napkin decoupage technique.

For the base of the wreath, I used a grapevine wreath. I added small sprigs of silk flowers and fun St. Patrick’s Day gold and green coins.
One fun tip…..I like to use pre-made bows and accessories as embellishments. I fine them discounted and sometimes even clearance priced. They can be perfect for add a little detail to your project. Many times the pre-made bows are cheaper than gathering all the supplies.
