Cathie, I have a new grandson, born one month ago and a new granddaughter born 3 days ago! They are both in the market for some very cool onsies as their mothers are very artistic and I would love to surprise them with something unique! I have done some simple embroidery on onesies but I know this book is going to get me going on a new track!
A onesie is probably the only thing I haven’t altered! I have a friend with a baby on the way and the book is coming out at a perfect time for me 🙂 scorpn5[at]sbcglobal[dot]net

These are so adorable!! I think my favorite is “Major POOP” —too cute!! 🙂
SUPER PRIZE! I just altered a onsie for my 8 month old and a tshirt for my 1 1/2 year old for them to wear on easter.. its kind of like your “junior prom” one… I put a bowtie, dress shirt ruffles, and buttons on the little one, and a regular tie applique and dress shirt ruffles on the bigger one. I used red bandana fabric (because I had some scraps to use up) so I call them the “redneck dress shirts”
email: chasingrays@hotmail.com
Hmm, I think the funnest one I altered was the tie dye pumpkins for Halloween…I just had to give him a little jack o lantern on his tushy =)
I love to alter onesies. Infact, my daughter is wearing one now. It has ruffles on the bum!

I have two little ones that I want to refashion for.
We used iron-on transfers to spruce up some tiny snapsuits for my daughter before she was born. I learned a valuable lesson about not using cheap transfers!
I like to make matching snapsuits and undershirts for my kids for each holiday.
maryadams@gmail.com

I’ve just gotten into putting appliques (initials & basic shapes) on onesies! So much fun to do inbetween my 1 yr olds naptimes 🙂
Thanks for the giveaway chance!
nhume(at)aol(dot)com
I’ve never decorated a onesie, but I did applique a little giraffe on a baby-sized fleece jacket once. I think it turned out pretty cute!
I’ve taken onesie’s and added color to them with permanet markers. I never write the name of a child on their tops because that puts them on a first name basis with a stranger if he (or a she) can get close enough to read it. I’ve put horses and dogs on tops and used tulip paints to do the details.

I have done freezer paper stenciling to onesie’s, but look forward to doing much more once I get a hold of your book.
