Yarn Wrapped Ornaments
Use bits of scrap yarn and hot glue to make a yarn wrapped ornament. The tag is a Mod Podge Podgeable. Be sure to wear a finger cap so you don’t burn your finger!
Materials Needed:
Mod Podge Acrylic Podgeable Shapes
Mod Podge Hot Glue Finger Caps
Mod Podge ® Gloss, 8 oz.
Paper Mache Ball Ornament
Hot Glue
Yarn
Holiday Scrapbook Paper Word
Scissors
Paintbrush
Chunky Glitter
Red Ribbon
Instructions
Wearing a Mod Podge Finger Cap to prevent hot glue burns; begin gluing the yarn at the top of the ornament with hot glue. Glue in a coiled fashion working your way down the ornament.
Make a holiday tag by cutting a holiday themed word from scrapbook paper, Mod Podge the paper to the back of a Podgeable tag shape. Coat the back of the tag with a thick layer of Mod Podge and sprinkle with glitter. Tap off the excess and allow to dry.
Add a red bow to the top of the ornament.
Tip: Make a family photo frame by gluing small copies of family photos into the frames.
